Dr. John Countryman (US)

Dr. John Countryman is a retired theatre professor. He has been a 3 Principles facilitator since 2012, and trained at the Cypress Initiative in Florida in the Spark! Curriculum for middle school and high school students. He has taught individuals of all ages over a 38 year career. He is embarking on a graduate degree program in gerontology that includes an emphasis on intergenerational work–young people collaborating on constructive activities with later life adults that benefit both populations. He is married to a middle grades language arts teacher and is very familiar with challenges and opportunities for service in America’s public school system!
